Westford Ma- The Westford Academy coaching staff selected five players of the week following the Ghosts win over Lowell last Saturday afternoon at the Haunted House. Alex Wilson, Jack Nelken, Henry Babineau, Chris Sell and Ben Chen were all named for their efforts against the Raiders.
Offense- Alex Wilson
7 rushes for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns.
5 catches for 48 yards receiving.
Defense- Jack Nelken
Anchored the D line to help shut down the run against Lowell
7 assisted tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 QB harrasses
Bigs- Henry Babineau
Was in the Lowell backfield all afternoon causing havoc
6 assisted tackles, 1 solo tackle, 2 tackle for loss and 1 QB harass
Special Teams- Chris Sell
Former soccer player, kicked the ball inside the 10 yard line on 3 out of 4 kickoffs
Scout Team- Ben Chen
Sophomore running back and linebacker participated in 95 % of the scout team reps this week.
Provided a great look for both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Ben also played on special teams at the varsity game.
