- The Ghosts play for the league title this Saturday afternoon. WA won the league in 2022. Since Joining the Dual County League in 1993, WA has won the league 5 times.
- The Lincoln Sudbury Warriors are coming to town with an undefeated record in the league. LS beat Acton Boxborough 35-0 and Concord Carlisle last week 24-14.
-WA Lost to LS last year 36-14. WA has only beaten LS once since 2016. The Warriors are led by first year Head Coach Justin McKay. Lincoln Sudbury’s captains are WR/DB Charlie Barringer, LB Kevin Abair, OL Emmett Dolanand and DL Ethan Gordon.
- The Ghosts have won 2 in a row and are playing good football. Coach Rich stated that offensively, his team is playing disciplined football and not turning the ball over. On defense they are creating turnovers. The WA defense has 2 pick six’s the last 2 games.
-At Saturday’s game we will be welcoming our Best Buddies Program.. We will also be celebrating our wonderful staff members. Every staff member of the Westford Public school System received a complimentary ticket to the game.
