- Westford Academy came up short against Leominster in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, falling 21-13. A big factor in that loss was the performance of Syracuse commit Osiris Lopez, who rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 170 yards and a touchdown.
- Westford Academy's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed by Belmont at home to the tune of 49-0.
- Leominster witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They were beaten by Catholic Memorial 56-28. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.
- Ghosts are excited to play in Leominster at Doyle Field. Leominster Football has a great tradition and Doyle field is a great place to play on Friday night.
