- Ghosts enter week seven at 4-2 on the season. WA beat Concord Carlisle last week 35-0. The Chelmsford Lions are 3-4, they lost to Tewksbury last week 21-7.
- The winner of this game will receive the 110 Cup. Originating in 2019, the 110 Challenge pits both non-league foes Chelmsford (Merrimack Valley Conference) and Westford Academy (Dual County League) with the winner taking possession of the trophy. The two towns share Route 110 as its border. The Lions won the first four challenges, however the Ghosts won last year's game in a nail biter 21-19.
- The Lions head coach is George Peterson (6th year). They are led by Thomas Brown OL/DL (Villanova Commit), Ryan Hart TE/LB, Alex Kajko TE/SS, Jake Brooks WR/D and Cooper Campo TE/LB.
-The Ghosts have a lot of Chelmsford history/connections on their coaching staff. 8 members of the Ghosts staff have played/ coached for the Lions. Those coaches include Bruce Rich JR ‘04, Bruce Rich Sr ‘73, Eli Gioumbakis ‘99, Tim Rich ‘08, Pat McCabe ‘04, Connor Mclaughlin ‘13, Moose Howard ‘17 and Matt Kotfila ‘04. Coach Rich Sr was the Head Coach for the Lions from 1996 to 2016. During that time his teams appeared in 5 Super Bowls and they won it all in 2007 with Tim Rich at QB. Coach Rich SR is a member of their Hall of Fame.
