- Ghosts played Belmont for the first time in program History last year and won 26-20. A hail mary pass to Quinn Reynolds at the end of the half was the difference in the game.
- The Marauders are coming off a terrific 6-4 season last year, including winning the Middlesex League title for the first time in 59 years.
- The Marauders have a new head coach. Francois Joseph was hired last May. Joseph has been on the staff since 2021. However, during this year’s hiring process, he brought on new offensive and defensive coordinators.For Belmont, junior wide receiver/free safety Casey Regan and senior offensive and defensive tackle Zak Zaddem will be players to watch on both sides. Regan and Zaddem each earned League All-Star honors last season.
- Ghosts are coming off a week two loss against a tough Billerica team. Coach Rich stated that his team needs to be better in all three phases of the game. Offensively, the players need to stay on blocks. Defensively, they need to tackle better. As a coach, he needs to do a better job putting players in better positions to succeed.
-The Westford Academy Football team is welcoming their youth players and cheerleaders to the Haunted House. The youth night is a great night for the community every year.
